The Pamplin Family & Connections by William E.
Pamplin, Jr. From the late 1950's until the 1980's, William E. (Bill) Pamplin, Jr. devoted a great deal of time researching and collecting information about the history of Pamplin family members in the United States. His research and travels took him to state & county archives, real estate records, deed books, census records and libraries. In addition, he corresponded extensively with many Pamplin family members in the United States, Canada and abroad. Through his work, he also established contact with Michael Ian Coyne, a Pamplin family researcher in Great Britain. In the mid-1980s, William E. Pamplin, Jr. published the results of his work with the help of Martha Pamplin Rosso (typesetter extraordinaire) & Gateway Press Publishing Company of Baltimore, Maryland. Both volumes contain over 350 pages of Pamplin family information and are printed on archive quality paper. They are hard bound in an attractive crimson binding with gold lettering. The cost of typesetting and printing of both Volume I and Volume II were funded personally by William E. Pamplin, Jr. In 1986, the price of each volume for family members (computed from publication costs) was $35.00 US. We are currently asking $55.00 dollars US for the two volume set (this price is below the 1986 price). Your purchases helps to support additional research and this Web site.
